*Job Brief: *This an excellent opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join a welcoming and friendly care home which is located in Ashington, where they provide general nursing and residential care to its residents.

*Key Points*
* You must hold an active NMC pin with an Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing Qualification
* Caring for patients requiring Nursing, Palliative, Dementia, Residential & Elderly Care.
* Some duties will involve; creating care plans, medication, catheterisation, taking blood, overseeing care staff, and leasing with GPs and relatives.
* Hours are Part-time or Full-time (24 - 48 hours per week)
* Shifts are 12 hours on a rolling rota each week, 08:00 - 20:00 or 20:00 - 08:00, 4 weeks in advance and involve alternate weekends.
* The salary is £19.00 per hour with paid breaks, time and a half on bank holidays
* Day and night shift contracts are available

*The Care Home*

The Care Home is large and it is specifically designed to a high standard and has successfully provided a care service for the local community for many years. The home is split into different units; general nursing and residential care.

It is a modern, purpose-built, clean and well-organised care home with a friendly and well-trained clinical team of carers and registered nurses plus a long-standing Home Manager. It does have a Good CQC report overall with some good areas, and good reviews online.
